Terms & Conditions

The purchase/payment of any travel services offered by Atifa Tours Canada Ltd. (Powered by Centreholidays Inc.) constitutes a contractual agreement between the Travel Agent/Traveller and Atifa Tours Canada Ltd (AtifaTours) and represents your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Note: Terms & Conditions are accurate at the time of printing and are subject to change before booking. You are advised to check on the website or to request the latest version from your travel agent before booking your vacation.

Land Deposits And Land Final Payment

  • Payments will be in CAD or USD and will be specified at the time of inquiry.
  • A $250 non-refundable, non-transferable per person per trip is required to reserve a space.
  • AtifaTours accepts only certified cheques, money orders and email transfers.
  • Credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) incur a 3.5% bank fee on the gross amount.
  • Final payment is due 60 days before departure (some exceptions may require immediate payment).
  • All payments are non-refundable once made.
  • Your booking is confirmed only after deposit processing and receipt of confirmation invoice.

Credit Card Authorization

When paying with credit card, you must complete an authorization form and provide:

  • Copy of driver's license
  • Copy of front/back of credit card
  • Retail travel agencies must use cash deposit, email transfer or certified cheque

Invoicing

You are responsible for verifying invoice accuracy (travel dates, options, name matching passport) within 10 days of receipt. Changes are subject to fees. Billing errors may result in corrected re-invoicing.

Vacation Acceptance

Subject to AtifaTours providing detailed program and invoice.

Air Options

Package quotes exclude airfare. Air options with cancellation/change policies will be provided.

Cancellations

Cancellation policies vary by product type:

FIT Tours (1-7 passengers)

  • Deposits non-refundable
  • Final payments non-refundable
  • Not responsible for airline cancellations affecting program
  • Strongly recommend All-Inclusive Insurance

Group Travel (8+ passengers)

  • Deposits non-refundable
  • Final payments non-refundable within 60 days
  • May cancel group if minimum not met (full refund)
  • Recommend arriving one day early to avoid travel disruptions

Air Products

Airline-specific policies apply. AtifaTours not responsible for flight cancellations/misconnections.

Pre & Post Accommodation

Cancellation policies provided at booking.

Singles Travel

  • Guaranteed same-gender roommate for double occupancy pricing
  • No single supplement on bus tours (we cover if no roommate available)
  • Private rooms available with single occupancy surcharge

Reserved Seats

No reserved coach seats. Medical requests considered with advance notice.

Passports And Visas

  • Valid passport required (minimum 5 blank pages, 6 months validity post-return)
  • Traveler responsible for required visas
  • No assistance provided for visa/passport processes

Airline Claims

Denied boarding, misconnections, lost/damaged baggage claims must be filed directly with airline.

Tips

$10/day standard for driver/guide combo (collected by group leader for groups).

Language

English-speaking guides standard. Other languages may be available (additional cost).

Special Assistance

Not suitable for major disabilities (wheelchair-bound, etc.). Most transportation/lodging lacks accessibility features.

Refusal Of Transportation

May refuse transport/remove passengers for:

  • Safety/security threats
  • Abusive/harassing behavior
  • Discriminatory conduct

Removed passengers responsible for own return arrangements/costs.

Punctuality

Late arrivals may result in departure without passenger.

Group Meals

Fixed-time group meals. Individual dining at passenger's expense.

Medication

Passengers responsible for own medications/prescriptions.

Medical Requirements

Some destinations require vaccinations/medical documents (traveler's responsibility).

Smoking/Vaping

Prohibited on all AtifaTours transportation. Hotel policies vary.

Motor Coaches

  • Daily seat rotation
  • No alcohol consumption while vehicle in motion
  • Transport modes may change daily

Price Policy

Currency fluctuations/local tax changes may affect pricing.

Travel Documents

Issued 30-21 days pre-departure.

Holidays

Local holidays/events may affect availability of services (alternatives offered).

Safety

Certain risks beyond our control. Off-program activities at your own risk. Not responsible for natural disasters, political unrest, terrorism, etc. Insurance strongly recommended.

Photography

Respect local photography restrictions.

Optional Excursions

Third-party operators (not covered by AtifaTours terms).

Travel Insurance

"All Inclusive" insurance required (may be purchased through us or approved alternative).

Confidentiality

Program details shared only with authorized contacts.

Frequent Flyer Programs

No agreements in place - traveler's responsibility.

Young Travellers

Notarized authorization letters recommended for minors travelling without both parents.

Personal Details

Some governments require advance personal information (mandatory for travel).

Single Supplement

Guarantees private room (location may vary).

Special Requests

Not guaranteed (we'll try to accommodate).

Hotel Check-In/Out

Standard times: 2:00 pm check-in, 11:00 am check-out.

Baggage Allowance

One piece porterage included (additional baggage your responsibility).

Refunds

Deposits and final payments non-refundable. Post-departure service changes may result in comparable alternatives or savings refunds.

Severability

If any portion invalidated, remainder stays in effect.

Jurisdiction

Governed by Ontario/Canadian law.

Inclusions/Exclusions

Clearly specified per itinerary. Generally excludes:

  • WiFi (not guaranteed)
  • Laundry
  • Phone calls
  • Alcohol/non-specified meals
  • Optional activities

Insecticide

Some destinations require aircraft disinfection (details).

Force Majeure

Not liable for Acts of God including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political unrest/terrorism
  • Government actions
  • Other unforeseeable events

WiFi

Availability not guaranteed (may be limited/slow). Separate terms apply for coach WiFi where available.

Comparable Services

Will arrange alternatives for unavailable services (additional costs traveler's responsibility).

Liability

Not liable for supplier/insurer actions or omissions.

Payment constitutes acceptance of all terms.
